Mr. Diament’s practice focuses on special needs planning, trusts and estates and guardianship proceedings. Mr. Diament is a graduate of Binghamton University, cum laude, where he graduated with a BA in History, and the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law, cum laude, where he was an Associate Editor of the Cardozo Law Review and named to the Order of the Coif. During law school Matthew was a legal intern at the Legal Action Center. He was also a participant in the Cardozo Human Rights and Genocide Clinic where he worked on a religious discrimination case and accompanied the legal team to France, where the case was heard before the European Court of Human Rights.

Prior to joining Robert Legal Group, Mr. Diament was an associate of Kassoff Robert & Lerner, LLP, a premier Long Island elder law firm. Mr. Diament previously worked as a litigation associate at a New York City law firm where he practiced commercial litigation. He has been admitted to practice law in New York since 2010. He is a member of the New York State Bar Association, Elder Law Section. Mr. Diament has represented clients in guardianship proceedings in Bronx, New York, Queens, Kings, Richmond, Westchester, Rockland, Suffolk, and Nassau counties.

Matthew and his wife, Erin Carroll Diament, a Nurse Practitioner specializing in women's health, reside in Forest Hills, New York along with their daughter.
